Marek Wędrychowski

Marek Wędrychowski specialises in the financial markets law including specifically banking and insurance law.

He gained his professional experience as a lecturer at the Chair of Criminal Procedure of the University of Warsaw while being simultaneously engaged in providing legal advice to banks; editor-in-chief of the legal publications department of Dom Wydawniczy ABC, tax investigation officer and, subsequently, in the Supervisory Commission of Insurance and Pension Funds and the Financial Supervision Authority, recently as Deputy Director in charge of the Legal and Regulatory Department of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. He also has extensive knowledge and expertise in criminal and administrative law and procedure from acting as an attorney in numerous court proceedings, especially in administrative courts.

Mr Wędrychowski also has extensive teaching experience including lectures in the Banking Law School of the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Faculty of Production Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology, Public Health School of the Public Centre of Post-Graduate Medical Studies in Warsaw, Warsaw Bar Association, Collegium Civitas, as well as training under the CEDUR programme implemented by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Currently, he is a lecturer of the University of Social Sciences in Warsaw. For two terms, he was an arbitrator of the Arbitration Tribunal of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and a mediator of the Arbitration Tribunal Mediation Centre of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority as well as the Deputy Chair of the Audit Committee of the Warsaw Bar Association, he also acted repeatedly as an examiner on criminal law during qualifying examinations for attorneys. Currently, he is a Deputy to the Disciplinary Proceedings Representative of the Warsaw Bar Association. He is the author of several dozens of publications on criminal law, human rights, banking and insurance law as well as education law. The co-author of the commentary to Prawo rynku kapitałowego [Capital market law](M. Wierzbowski, L. Sobolewski and P. Wajda (edit.),  C. H. Beck, Warszawa 2012, 2014 - 2nd edition).
